Character Card Set
These cards will help both you and I teach your child and remind your child about the character qualities they learn in class. Each full color, glossy card displays the nature illustration with the quality's definition and all the "I will's". When pieced together in the plastic holder, the Character Cards form a bigger picture on the back.
The cost is $20.00 (includes shipping and handling) for all 36 Character Cards (One for each Character Trait). Parents are encouraged to purchase immediately and use them to help your child memorize and demonstrate the definition and all the “I will’s”.
And, when your child has demonstrated each of the "I will's" at home please let us know during the last week of every month by attaching the card to their test form! Then we will recognize your child's achievement, praise him/her for demonstrating the Character Trait and and present the card to him at the test as a reward! (Up to this point just use the card to help your child but do not give it to him/her until she demonstrates all the "I will's" at home. )

Why Christ-centered Character training?
Not all children have equal access to mental and physical achievement, but all children have equal access to character. By studying character qualities of Christ, we will understand more about Christ and He will use them to develop His character in us. Jesus Christ is the full expression of every positive character quality. He is truth, love, forgiveness, gentleness, generosity, patience, kindness, and every other quality.

Each month we will focus on one character. For example, during the month we focus on the quality "Attentiveness" we will help your child:
- Understand the meaning of Attentiveness: Showing the worth of a person by giving full concentration to his or her words
- Learn and Apply the “I wills” of Attentiveness to his/her life:
- I will look at people when they speak to me.
- I will ask questions when I do not understand.
- I will sit or stand up straight.
- I will not draw attention to myself.
- I will keep my eyes, ears, hands, feet, and mouth from distractions.
- Learn the scriptural reference for the character trait. Attentiveness Scripture reference: “So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it.” (Hebrews 2:1)
Your child will also have wonderful opportunities to earn rewards as an incentive for memorizing and demonstrating these Character Qualities in their lives!
Because we do not want to put undue pressure on your child we have different levels of participation. Please pick one that is best for your child and your family. The higher level will require more parental support and assistance. But with the higher level comes higher rewards in the life of your child! Want to make a BIGGER difference in your child's life? Then go for the highest level! I know many of you are busy with several extra curricular activities so I made this optional but I hope that everyone can go for it and do level two.

At KK4C we want to provide a spiritually safe and sound environment and we want to help train your child(ren) to be spiritually strong and sound. When they enter the world, where the environment may not be safe, we hope they will have learned to put their confidence in God’s power and be a Godly influence to their culture instead of letting the culture influence them.
